Why does the Web App ask to use my browser's location information?

To use the dock address search we need to know your approximate location so we can better filter the search results to your area. For more information on how we use user information, please review our Privacy Policy.

Are Dock411 accounts free?

Yes, accounts are free. There isn't a charge to create a Dock411 account.

How do I create an account?

Simply visit the Sign up page, enter your information, and click the Create Account button.

You'll now be able to use both the web and mobile apps with your new account.

I’m having problems signing in. Can you help?

Most difficulties signing in are related to incorrect passwords. Please be sure you’re typing your password exactly as when you created it, paying special care to the case.

We recommend that you type passwords and not copy and paste as this can introduce unwanted characters into the password fields.

I can't sign in or have forgotten my password. What should I do?

Please visit our Forgotten Password page and enter the handle or email address you provided when signing up. Shortly you should receive an automated email from our website. In this email there will be a personalized link which allows you to reset your password directly.

Please note: passwords are case sensitive and must be entered in twice exactly the same for confirmation.

I try to sign-in but my account is locked. What should I do?

For security precautions, your account will be locked after too many unsuccessful sign-in attempts. Please visit our Forgotten Password page and enter the handle you provided when creating your account. Shortly you should receive an automated email from our website. In this email there will be a personalized link which allows you to reset your password directly.

Can you retrieve or reset my password for me?

No, for security reasons, we cannot retrieve or reset the password for any user.

I’m not getting emails from dock411.com. What should I do?

There’s a chance that emails we’ve sent you have ended up in your Spam or Junk folder. What might help is for you to add dock411.com to your email address book. Chances are better that emails we send to you will then be delivered to your Inbox.

If email from our site is not arriving in your Inbox and is also not in your Junk/Spam folder, please contact your IT department. They will be able to help your further troubleshoot this issue.
